Well I got a summer job! I'll be working with a team in a London studio to create VFX for a series to be shown on the Discovery Channel! I'm real glad I got the job.
However, this means I probably won't be able to finish an animation with my last award-winning robot before the end of summer. It's really too bad as I was really looking forward to animating him. BUT, maybe I can animate him in my free time at work and possibly even use their render farm to complete it! That'd be perfect. Don't expect too much at the moment though.
This summer's going to be way busier than most of my other ones, have to juggle all my tasks of working at the studio, keeping up with my freelance projects, animating this robot, learning to play the bass guitar, learning Japanese and seeing my girlfriend...

Gosh I never imagined I'd get a DD for this but my latest deviation got it . It's made my day. Thanks to all my watchers and supporters for helping me out all this time and I promise to deliver on this next animation, getting a few good ideas about it.

Well it's finished, just the rendering to do...
It's going to take 83 more hours, that's about 3 and a half days. Though I'm quite happy with the result. It looks pretty sharp.
I just hope it doesn't get too noisy and I can get to sleep at night.

So I recently got banned from playing any kind of video/PC game by my dad so I've been doing way more 3D stuff. But there is a severe lack of battlenet in my life, dunno what I'm gonna do about that...
Anyway yeah back to the 3D stuff..
I am finishing up my animation for Celldweller and their live performances. Bo.
Have started working on a big collab animation but I probably won't post it up here when it's done because it borrows none of my style, just my technical ability, so it's not really MY art, ya know.
I'm making another walk cycle of Julian because I like working with his 4-leggedness, but this time he'll be galloping. Maybe I'll give him some nice long hair with some badass dynamics. It might be tricky getting it to loop though, as it's dynamic and all.
After that I dunno what I'll do, maybe I'll look at making another boppin music video, maybe a metal one? any suggestions for genre etc? I was also thinking maybe the bobs playing a Miles Davis tune or something with square saxophones and trumpets or something. Would be rad.
Anyway, all other facets of my life are super cool, except some of my schoolwork, I guess I kinda suck at that, but I dont really care.

well, been a long time since I've written a journal entry here. Over the summer I didn't really end up doing what I mentioned previously for several reasons that I won't get into. Though I did start a big bob animation but that's on hold at the moment. Hopefully I'll be doing 3D at school so I'll be constantly working on one project.
Yeah today's our first day of school, I should be at school now, but Im not because I can't go until my parents pay for it heh. We're so poor, I had to pay for my mom's gasoline because she didn't have anything on her credit card. Anyway that's about it. bye
